The Genius at the Apple Store deactivates the old phone
Jul 12 2007, 5:29 AM EDT Hello, When you return an iphone, the genius at the Apple Store deactivates the old iPhone and transfer the sim card from the old iPhone to the new one (or just give you the sim card) which will be inserted in the new phone and then you can activate the new phone and it only takes few minutes. Without deactivation of the old phone the new one cannot be activated. I had to return my iPhone becasue of a defect and this is what was done. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
