Can they make enough iPhones??

Does anyone think we will see lines around the free-standing Cingular/AT&T stores in the days prior to June 11? Will there be a supply issue? Also, I signed up for informational e-mails from Apple regarding the iPhone, yet I have not received any. I do know of people who have. What did I do wrong??

I like you signed up on Apple's Website, I have not received anyhting either. I don't beleive we did anythign wrong I just beleive that Execs @ Apple are a bit paranoid of giving any corporation any kind of hint as to distribution time tables.

Well, that makes me feel better, although I seem to recall reading elsewhere that someone who had signed up for updates had received an e-mail from Apple. There are free-standing Cingular stores EVERYWHERE here in Tulsa. I can't WAIT to see the seven-foot-tall monstrosity that will be the iPhone interactive demo. I'm locked into a two-year deal with U.S. Cellular. However, I have read that if you can find someone to take over your current contract, you can actually get out of it. I would GLADLY give someone my brand-new red RAZR and its accessories in order to free myself for the impending toy from Apple that MUST be mine.
