If the battery dies you have to MAIL it to the factory, go for 6 weeks without it, and then get a new phone that's wiped!

the verizon voyager is 100 times better than the iphone!!! its less expensive, opens, u can watch tv and lots. The iphone is all touch, and that gets quite annoying after a while. Go verizon voyager!!

I think that you guys should put in Site Meter.
Site Meter will tell you how many people have visited your site and who is on your site etc.

I've moved from a Treo 650 to the iPhone. So far I really am enjoying the entertainment part of my iphone. I also was impressed with the easy activation. The keyboard is difficult and I'm hoping it actually does become second nature. I like the sleekness of the phone and the wide screen. I also appreciate the 'slide' unlock feature. Email access is quicker on the iphone than the Treo. Messaging is a bit cumbersome with the iphone in comparison with the Treo. I really do like the sensory feeling of touching the individual keys rather than the flat screen keyboard of the iphone. I appreicate the 'memo' feature of the Treo rather than the "notes" of the iphone, but I'm sure I'll get use to that too. I am really disappointed there aren't more ringtones and the ones that are there are pretty basic... no frills and don't we all enjoy a good sound alerting us of a call. Also, I want to be able to set the alarm sounds incoming email and different ones for different alarm settings. And, I'm not sure there is a way to set up a specific ring tone for callers. I am going to the Apple Store tomorrow for an iphone workshop. And, finally, I am hoping Apple sends us all upgrades on a regular basis. We shall see.

Like others have commented here, I hope this iPhone has some decent capabilities for searching contact information and displaying notes from contacts. I have seen very little information about using contacts. Palm Pilot's have been around for years which allow you to search for any information in addresses, phone numbers, or notes for contacts.

Apple's priorities are wrong if they do not enable this functionality in the iPhone. Most business people rely on quickly finding contacts and getting a lot more information than just a telephone number or e-mail address from the contact record. Even the most simple phone has done this for years.

Since Apple has said the iPhone is running MacOS X, then it should be easy to support the full Mac Address Book functionality. But have they?
